Support Group Meetings

Dr Clements requires 2 visits to the UAB support group for bariatric surgery. I have been to one. It is a bunch of overweight people sitting around talking about their upcoming surgery or the surgery that they have had. It was ok to meet others similar to myself but I really did consider it a waste of time. But, Dr Clements assistant sent me an email yesterday and wanted to know how I was doing. Of course, I asked about the support group. So, she has me done for next Thursday at 6pm. I should have kept my mouth shut. It would not be bad if I did not have to drive for 1.5 hours to get there. I wish that I could skip it.
